I am Mrs. Becky Coleman wife to the late Chife Paul Coleman from Sierra Leon. According to my Husband, this money was the income accrued from Mining Co-operation's over draft and minor sales.

Before the peak of the civil war between the rebels forces of Major Paul Koroma and the combined forces of ECOMOG peace keeping operation that almost destroyed my country, following the forceful removal from power
of the civilian elected President Ahmed Tejan Kabbah by the rebels. My Husband had already made arrangement for I and my two children to be evacuated to Ivory coast with the CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT he made with a security firm in Europe through the aid of U.N evacuation team.

During the war in my country, and following the indiscriminate looting of Public and Government properties by the rebel forces, the Sierra Leone mining coop. Was one of the target looted and it was destroyed. My husband including other top Government functionaries were attaked and killed by the rebels in November 2000 because of his relationship with the civilian Government of Ahmed Tejan Kabbah.

As a result of my husbands's death , and with the information we got that the rebelsa are out for us the burden became too much for me to handle coupled with the ill health of my dauther she died in the process as i could not afford her a decent medical care.

Our only hope now is in you and the boxes deposited in the Security Firm To this effect, I humbly solicit your assistance in the followings ways.

1. to assist me claim this boxes from the security Firm as our beneficiary

2. to transfer this money (USD$30M) in your name to your country

3. to make a good arrangement for a joint business investment on our behalf in your country and you, our Adviser/ Manager

Nice to see he / she talked to the family about using me... I wouldn't want them to get into a mess and possible not gain anything out of this transaction.

Can you spot where the CUT n PASTE has happened from a note she's obviously already sent. The UPPER case characters gives it away. I have no idea how you would search for this on the internet..especially since it seems my email address which is brand new has already filtered its way onto a internet database...Which of course is complete bollox as the note above was the first email to leave my pop3 server with the address on it. What more proof do you need to show you that its a scam..

Let African Scammer be our watch word throughout this transaction.

Why couldn't she include it in this email ?

And at the end she slips in what the email really was trying to say...give me your telephone number as I want to see if you're interested enough to proceed.

Of course, I give out the telephone number of a voicemail box I've got setup in London. I'm alerted to my mobile when ever a message is left there..

Well today my Mobile rang, I've got a message on the mailbox in London. It's a womans voice - unfortunately they either resricted the number they were using or they were actually calling from Africa.

Transcript : "Hello, Hello this is Becky Coleman...I'm calling from Africa...I call you tommorow...Bye Bye"

True to her word - she calls...

"Hello Steve, I phoned you yesterday, I spoken your voicemail but I see you're meme but how are you I will call you tommorow or later. Thank you...bye bye."

Thanks for your email and your voice mail, I've been out travelling for the last couple of days hence I've been unable to respond to your email and also only just collected your messages. I also plan to be travelling for the next week or so...What's the best telephone number to contact you to discuss this business ? It would be nice to speak to you directly at least once..

Of course I understand your concerns over security and agree that keeping this quiet is the best policy.

I still don't understand the overall process of this business, e.g. what the next steps are ? I would appreciate it if you could give me your telephone number to discuss my overall involvement.
